Hello, there is no online database, at least that I am aware of. I do have some sales records but they are incomplete. I do not have any sales records for the BNC either. The biggest single buyer of Mitchell cameras was the U.S. Armed services. But it is more exciting, at least for me, if I know a studio used a camera I owned. If By chance a studio owned your friend's camera, there is a potential of finding some history on it. Keep in mind it is not that common to find specific history. Records and other evidence, like photos, are spotty and sometimes difficult to search.
