Mk2/a (100- 268) = 168 (Serial numbers not continuous)

Just saw this post. Here is a basic timeline with serial numbers: The (Mk1) R35 first serial number was #5 (it appears the first 4 were design tests in some form) that was in 1961. Yes on the Mk1& 2's. Both were designed for the NC mags which were thicker for sound usage. NC mags come only in 1K size because of sound. You could use standard mags and 400' on NC's and Sr35' s with an insert shim called a fork. The projection light through the viewer is a feature used on rostrum ...

Sorry, It took some time to shoot and format pictorial description answer to your question. Did not include 70mm FC camera dimensions as a bit of overkill.I have a set of vistaVision magazines but not the camera. ED

On the bench currently is BNC305 which was converted to an Nc-R at some point. I am in the process of taking it back to its original configuration (parts willing). No. Crosshairs are engraved on the center of the finder ground glass. The adjustable framing ribbon are different.
