If so, search for mitchellcamera no spaces as there is another group there but is no longer managed. Otherwise I will consider leaving an email here but don’t want it left on here lon...

Re: Dimensional drawing of Mitchell BNCR
Hello, I am not aware of any drawings for the BNC/BNCR. How accurate does it need to be? I own a BNCR and could give you some dimensions and pictures.

Re: Can someone please identify my blimp?
Oh, so you only have the blimps, got it. If you mean the badge 100 is on the outside of the blimp magazine cover, that would’ve been the camera number too, I am fairly certain. BNC 100 was sold 4/30/1952. I can’t quite make out the name, it’s J. Burgi or Durgi Contner or something similar. It’s writ...

I am attaching a picture of my Mitchell Standard, sold to Paramount in 1931. I was lucky enough to learn that when Paramount used th...

Re: Can someone please identify my blimp?
Wow, very cool about the microphone! It’s wonderful you are interested in preserving the history! I have a collection of cameras that I research to find out what they have filmed. I have gotten lucky and found records and photos of several of mine on many movies. I am going to try and attach a coupl...

Re: Can someone please identify my blimp?
Hello, very cool blimp. Yes, it is an MGM blimp, which I believe were originally painted gold. MGM likely hired a company to make them to MGM’s specs and it could’ve been any manufacturer. I do not know what company that was. If you ever take the paint off (carefully) be sure to keep an eye out for...
